As a developing writer of Today's Country Music, Hurst continues to record his material and find his place among Nashville's hit makers. Hurst has been able to open for numerous headlining Nashville acts and took the lead as head of the Songwriters Chapter with the Florida Country Music Industry. Jeff performs as a single acoustic act, a high energy duo or trio acoustic act.
As a Staff Songwriter for Dan Hodges Music/JMM in Nashville, Jeff writes with the some of the biggest hit songwriters climbing today's country charts. Dan Hodges has placed several indie cuts on Jeff's songs including a new single released to Texas radio (Feb 2011). While still residing in the Central Florida area, Jeff performs on regular basis throughout Florida from large festivals to the small honkytonks and spends one week in Nashville each month for marathon writing sessions.
