All About SMS Productions

Hey Everyone, Steve Ellis here to tell you a little about myself and SMS Productions. Let me start by telling you that I was born in Lake County and raised in the surrounding areas, making me a proud Florida native.

Growing up in the Central Florida area it was always easy to find music of some type being played somewhere. Sometimes that "some type" was the oldies or gospel music and the "some where" was coming straight out of mom's car radio. Wherever, whenever I loved it all….. Country, Rock, Gospel, Oldies, Jazz. No matter what type of music I always found that "live" music captured my attention and created deep feelings and respect for the artist themselves. I found that the love and respect for music has followed me into adulthood and SMS Productions is allowing me the opportunity to follow my dream.

My career and the SMS Productions vision began in 2002 when I started running sound for some local bars and artists. In 2004 I expanded my experience by coordinating shows for the clubs and managing the artists. This transition provided me the opportunity to meet a lot of great people in the music industry. I soon found myself doing more bookings and management then sound. Taking all of that experience and creating SMS Productions, LLC I now take local artists that have a talent and desire to succeed and help promote them into the concert limelight. I work with acoustic acts as well as full bands. Exposure and venues vary depending on the artists and their desire to be seen and heard.

Growing Again…. 2010 provided some firsts for SMS Productions and opened doors for new and exciting ventures. "SOLD OUT" & "RECORD ATTENDANCE" shows at multiple places during the past year has provided SMS Productions with the opportunity to add NATIONAL ARTISTS to our line up. That's right NATIONAL ARTIST!
